It was exactly 2 years ago, minus a month or two, I was standing in this same courtyard, adorned in a navy blue polyester blend uniform wrapping my head around being back in the retail game.

Rewind back to October 2018, Stephan and I decided that we should create something together. This was a random thought that spilled out into our martinis one night on the sofa while I was visiting Portland.

COMING INTO THE WORLD

There is a presence of despair, sadness and hope - it wafts through the air like expensive french perfume. The lingering scent unfolds as the notes began to peel away, each emotion evaporates to reveal the next.

TEACHABLE MOMENTS

I had a great experience as a first time teacher and I’m glad I didn’t let fear or a flare up of imposter syndrome stand in the way of a beautiful opportunity.
